Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) said that the love of wealth, status and praise grows hypocrisy in the heart just as water grows the grass and that the destruction caused by hungry wolves on a flock of sheep is much less than what love for status and wealth causes in the heart of a Muslim. This saying of our beloved Prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H is enough to say that love for status and wealth is the greatest of evils and those who follow their nafs and desires and desire praise will destroy a human being. This chapter tells us about the various forms of this disease, its causes and how to cure oneself from falling into love with wealth and status.
