Importance of Shabe Meraj
27th Rajab – Lailat al Miraj, also known as Shab-e-Miraj, celebrates the Isra and Miraj of the Prophet Muhammad May peace and blessings be upon His Purest Soul, When our beloved Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) went from Mecca to Al-Aqsa Mosque, Jersalem from there Prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H were Elevated where He First Met Hazrat Adam A.S on the 1st Heaven. Hazrat Isa A.S and Hazrat Yahya A.S on the 2nd Heaven, Hazrat Yusuf A.s on the 3rd Heaven, Hazrat Idris A.s on the 4th Heaven, Hazrat Harun A.S on 5th Heaven, Hazrat Musa A.S on 6th Heaven and Hazrat Ibrahim A.S on the 7th Ibrahim and once He met with the Prophets, Rasool Allah eventually met with Allah (God).
This night is also special for Muslims as this was the night 5 Obligratory prayers were made mandatory for Muslims as a mercy from Allah.

The Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) said: “The best prayer after those prescribed is (the prayer performed) in the depth of night.” [Saheeh Muslim and Musnad Ahmad]
How to Pray for Shab-e-Meraj: Pray 12 Nafl in total with 3 Salaam i.e 4 Rakats read separately 3 times.
1. First 4 Rakat – After Reciting Surah Fatiha [Chapter 1] in all 4 rakats recite Surah Qadr [Chapter 97] 3 times in each rakat.
After that Recite 70 Times “La Ilaha Illallahul Malikul mubeen”
2. Second 4 Rakat – Recite Surah Ikhlas [Chapter 112] thrice in each rakat after Surah Fatiha [Chapter 1]
After that Recite 70 Times “La Ilaha Illallahul Malikul Haqqul Mubeen”
3. Third 4 Rakat – Recite Surah Ikhlas[Chapter 112] thrice in each rakat after Surah Fatiha
After that recite 70 Times Surah Ash Sharh – Alam Nashrah [Chapter 94]
After reading 12 Nafl pray to Allah with sincere devotion so He May Forgive us and shower his blessings
EXTRA: Recite 20 Nafl with 10 Salaam In total i.e 10 Nafl of 2 Rakat
Recite Surah Ikhlas [Chapter 112] once in each rakat after Surah Fatiha [Chapter 1]
